The first addition to my new charm collection. A teeny evil eye hand made from sterling silver and plated in gold. Measuring just 12mm it's super cute, even if I do say so myself.
Known as a talisman to protect you from evil, it dates right back to the Egyptians with the Eye of Horus. It is probably most well known in Greek culture and since then, it's become a popular symbol on jewellery of today which I love. The idea behind it was to protect you from the curse of a jealous person who was thought to be able to cast over you with one look. It's since become known as a symbol to protect good people from bad things.

I've wanted to curate a charm collection for a long time. There's something about them I just love. I still wear my charm bracelet I've had for years and loved adding to it each year.
